Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Installer/Technician to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in a role that requires travel and hands-on technical work, this opportunity is for you. As an Installer/Technician, you will be responsible for the professional installation of our innovative products as well as various third-party AV equipment, including but not limited to display mounts, LCD displays, LED screens, projector mounts, and projectors.

You will have the unique opportunity to travel 90% of the time across the United States to spearhead these installations, ensuring each one meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Installations could range from indoor settings to rugged outdoor environments; hence proficiency in working on lifts, scaffolding, and ladders is crucial. Regular physical activity is part of the role, including lifting equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct professional installations of company products and third-party AV equipment across multiple states.
Safely operate lifts, scaffolding, and ladders for installations.
Handle and install fragile equipment with care.
Work collaboratively with other trades and coworkers.
Occasional solo travel and installation work.
Adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.

Qualifications:

5+ years of work experience in technical roles involving equipment, automotive, general construction or AV industry.
Thorough understanding and proficiency in using standard tools.
Ability to accurately read measuring tapes and blueprints.
Strong dedication to meet job demands, including frequent travel.

Compensation:

Key Responsibilities

Design and engineer custom mounting solutions for audiovisual applications using sheet metal and standard hardware.
Modify existing SolidWorks drawings and develop new components from scratch.
Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure project success.

Travel occasionally for trade shows and to perform site surveys.
